Regina to Winnipeg

Tuesday,July 22, 2008
After waking up and eating breakfast in Moose Jaw, we drove an hour to get into Regina. The first we thing we did was to go and see the legislative buildings. We took a tour which was very interesting. A 17 year old boy took 4 years to do all the wood carvings inside and there was marble from around the world that was used in the building of the legislature.

After that we went to the RCMP training center to see if we could catch the Sergeants Parade, we ate lunch and then sat at the parade square and watched them march. It is pretty hot today, I couldn't imagine being in uniform and marching around as being fun.

The kids were pretty spent by now so we decided to drive on to Winnipeg...

We stopped at a park in Brandon and had dinner, we used the portable BBQ for the first time and the kids enjoyed getting out and playing on the playground.

We got into Winnipeg around 11:00 and we parked in a Walmart parking lot, nothing glamorous tonight.
