Leavitt-Where else would you want to live?

It was a beautiful sunny day. Another family the Iversons arrived at about 3:30 in the morning and they also had 5 kids. After breakfast some of the kids went and played in the creek. After much discussion, a group headed into town to pick up some supplies...we went to this great store called the Bargain Barn. Everyone should stop by, it was great! We ended up taking a little longer and got back to Kate's just after 1:00. She showed me a lovely home that would be perfect for Owen and I to buy, should we decide to move.
Mike had prepared a feast. We ate and cleaned up and a group of us went to Waterton to check out Red Rock Canyon. The best story about today is that about 5 minutes on the way to Waterton as we are heading out of Leavitt. Max informs us that he had put his shorts and underwear on the RV to dry this morning. We quickly stopped but they were not on the RV. We made a note to check on the way home. When we arrived at Red Rock, Mike had found Max's shorts on the road and brought them with him. Max was happy to have his shorts back but there was no sign of his underwear.
Red Rock Canyon is a lot like Sooke Pot Holes, a little colder because of the glacier water. Owen, Max and Isabel of course went in. We hiked around and played in the water and then when it was time to go, Mike showed us an awesome view from the Prince of Wales Resort. It was windy but awesome.


After dinner, it took us awhile to get organized but we went to Hillspring for a Barn Dance. Olivia I think had the most fun. We met up with Owen's uncle Lyn and aunt Dorothea and there daughter Deanna. It was nice to see them. We danced and danced and we would have stayed longer except all our kids were tired and complaining. We headed back, the kids were asleep before we hit the road.
